The Rotore 9 Scatola del Tempo watch winder is the largest format in the Rotore range: nine modules, each programmable separately, to keep an automatic collection running between wears. Settings are made from a smartphone app, watch by watch. It is ideal for collectors whose collection exceeds six automatics, or who plan to expand it.
Nine modules set watch by watch
- Individual programming: each module gets its rotation direction and number of daily turns, via Bluetooth or USB Type-C cable.
- Swiss mechanisms: the modules use SwissKubik technology, with Swiss-made movements and a low-magnetism mechanism.
- Choice of watch holders: Standard for a wrist size of 16.3 to 19.5 cm, Small for 15.2 to 17.4 cm.
Toledo leather and Italian craftsmanship
- Calfskin leather: grained, naturally tanned Toledo leather, durable and soft to the touch.
- Handmade: the case is handcrafted near Lake Como.
- Six colors: deep black, chocolate brown, or four two-tone options: chocolate brown and chestnut, pearl grey and anise green, slate grey and orange, midnight blue and cream.
Choosing the right case
- Rotore 9 or Rotore 6: same programming and materials; the Rotore 9 adds three modules, for 38 × 34.5 × 23 cm versus 26.5 × 34 × 23 cm.
- Watches concerned: only automatic watches benefit from a winder; a quartz or manual watch does not need to rotate.
- At-home use: the case stays in a fixed spot, on mains power or batteries.
